Safeguarding is an important issue for all of our club members. The club has a range of safeguarding policies, protocols and mechanisms in place to
protect all club member from harm. This may include for example, any form of harassment, bullying, coercion any type of discrimination.
The club has two Welfare Officers – one male, one female – who are responsible with the club Chairman, in overseeing that all safeguarding issues are handled and managed appropriately in line with Welsh Athletic guidance.
Safeguarding is a responsibility of all club members, in making sure everyone one is safe in an inclusive environment. Any member can report any safeguarding concerns or issues to either of the Welfare Officers or club chairman at any time (please see contact information). All safeguarding reports will be taken seriously, and managed in line with club rules and policies, in a discreet and confidential manner.
Let’s keep everyone safe – and enjoy running in an inclusive and friendly environment.
