Coaching

All training sessions at the club is led by members who have attained formal Welsh Athletics coaching qualifications and have been DBS checked.  There are two types of qualification.  A Leader in Running Fitness (LiRF) is qualified to help with warm up, cool down and the motivation of a session.  A Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF) is a more advanced qualification and can lead a session that is designed to help a member(s) improve speed, endurance or another factor of running in road, fell, cross country and multi terrain-type events.
